Quick Start

Much of our world will be built as the game develops and information is received from our player base. Anyone can edit any unprotected page and add upon articles. You do not need to create a user account to do so, but it is encouraged and allows more options (such as uploading pictures). Some pages are protected from editing. These pages have a View source tab instead of an Edit tab. You can make suggestions by clicking on the Discussion tab and selecting "Edit."

Creating New Pages

To create a new page, simply type the name of the page in the search bar. It will tell you this page does not exist and ask you to create it. You can also do so by creating an internal link on another relevant page. All pages on Waypoint Wiki must be categorized. To categorize the page, place the mark up [[Category:Category Name]] anywhere in the editing field. For example, the Elf page would fall under the category [[Category:Races]]. Some pages may have multiple categories.

Existing Page Types/Layouts

Below you will find a list of predetermined Categories/Page types. Pages of the same type should maintain a similar layout and categorization. Any suggested changes to layouts and categorization should be made in the discussion page of each category. The links will take you to the category page so that you may also see a list of all pages currently in that category.
