-With a bit of a lull in activity Dr. Dais decides to make the rounds. To the people of Independence he gives the following announcement, and also hands out a written version written in the Common tongue. His announcement is as follows:
Citizens of Independence,

During my tenure here I would like to provide you all with the medical care you deserve. Henceforth I consider you all my patients, and extend the following services free of charge:

1.) Medical Consultation
2.) Physical Examination
3.) Minor and Major Medical Procedures
4.) Resuscitation, also known as Resurrection

If you are seeking any of the aforementioned services simply find me in the town (In Game or here on the Forums) and I will be more than happy to assist you. As stated before these services are free of charge. I do accept and appreciate donations if you feel obliged, but they are not required.

I also extend an invitation to all other medical practitioners, healers, shaman, etc. I would like to have a series of open forums and meetings where we can come together to discuss healing methods and helping our fellow townsfolk in our various capacities.

Sincerely,
Dr. Dais Orochi

Once the announcement is made the good doctor makes sure to stock his travel bag, and is ready to aid the people of Independence.-

Amethyst wrinkles her brow as she reads the posting again. "Independence?" she muttered. With a shrug she sighs, "Close enough I guess. Not sure what I might be able to offer him, but I may as well avail myself for these healer forums."

She turns and heads to seek out the doctor.

"Take two of these, and come by in the morning. With luck, the pain will be gone and you'll be able to rotate your shoulder," said the good doctor to a patient.

-Dr. Dais could be found out and about the town, checking up on the populace in his spare time. He sent a patient off with a small glass vial of multi-colored pills, waving as the man left. Seeing Amethyst he smiled. It appeared his message had made it to a fellow physician.-

"Ms. Amethyst, how are you on this fine day?"

"I am well," she says with a smile. "Glad to see that you are making yourself at home here. I noticed your announcement and I have come to offer my aide in the healers forums that you spoke of."

"Splendid!" The Doctor clasped his hands, happy his announcement had found another.

"I think I got the name of the town wrong though. I read 'Independance' somewhere, but folks have been saying 'Freedom.' Just what is the name of this place?"

Amethyst smiles and says, "Our town is called Freedom for that is what we care for the most here, even if it is at times to our detriment."

She pauses a moment and then continues with a pondering looking. "It's strange, I really haven't been a part of this town for all that long relativity speaking and I already feel as if this is the only place that I have ever known."

She pulls her attention back to the doctor. "I don't know much of the place you are from either. Tartarus, is it not?"

"Freedom. I will have to remember that, and change my announcement. Perhaps that is one of the horrors of the 'Waypoint Effect.' You actually consider this place your home."

-The doctor shuddered at that thought, not too keen himself to see the Waypoint as a viable place of survival. What was the quote he heard? Waypoint was the place people went to die? That made more sense.-

"You are correct, Ms. Amethyst. Tartarus is my homeworld. I... would advise against putting a summer home there. Or immigrating to Tartarus at all unless absolutely necessary. It's a..different place indeed."
